If you're an experienced rider who enjoys fantastic scenery and meeting new people (both the four and two legged variety) then why not join us for a fun-filled weekend in the Lake District.

Enjoy the most beautiful corner of England, the Lake District, on horseback

Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Ullswater and Matterdale Valleys. Take yourself back in time riding along an old coach road from the bygone age of the horse. Enjoy the freedom of cantering and galloping over open fells, and the peace and tranquility of the traditional rural countryside.

You don't have to worry about a thing, we will arrange everything for you.

The weekend starts on Friday evening when you arrive at your accommodation, a small comfortable local hotel, in time for an evening meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with your fellow riders and your guide.

On Saturday, following a full English breakfast, and armed with your packed lunch, you will be introduced to your horse. Each horse will have been chosen especially for you from our established herd.

Escape for the weekend ......... you deserve a break?

Once you've been fed and watered on Sunday morning, it's back to the stables and out on another full day's riding, but this time venturing further afield.

We like to make the second day an action packed day, both for horse and rider. Numbers and weather permitting, we head off to the magnificent foot of Lake Ullswater and embark on an exciting journey home - over fells, on bridleways and quiet country lanes, and through small, interesting villages.

After a full day's riding through our superb valley, it's back to the hotel to refresh and enjoy another relaxing evening of Cumbrian hospitality.
