NEW FOR 2008 - Air Rifle Shooting
	Our rifles are accurate, powerful, light and almost silent, thanks to an efficient silencer. Experienced instructors will help both novices and the experienced shooter to test their aim and concentration with our high-powered precision rifles. They can be reloaded using finger and thumb. This means there is nothing to distract from sheer accuracy, which is what it's all about.... you may well become addicted.... Minimum charge £45.00 for up to 3 people. NEW FOR 2008 - Dakar
	You can experience the thrill of driving through mud and water, tackling gradients and generally driving in conditions you wouldn't normally dream of. Accompanied at all times by one of our skilled instructors you will soon develop daring off-road skills and be feeling that adrenaline rush - all whilst riving at no more than 5 miles per hour.... Interested? Why not give it a go. A session can take up to 90 minutes for 3 people. £75 for 45 minutes Can have up to 3 drivers All drivers must have a valid driving license Passengers must be 12yrs or over
Archery
	Instruction by qualified GNAS instructors will enable you to get the most from this ancient art. Competitive, yet relaxing archery can be enjoyed regardless of the Lakeland weather as we have indoor and outdoor facilities. £8.00 per ½ hour £12.50 per 1 hour
Argo Cat
	Fully versatile, this 8 wheeled, skid steer, amphibious all terrain vehicle is roomy enough for 5 adults or 8 small children to enjoy the ultimate off-road experience. As the passengers you will be amazed as you are driven skilfully round natural obstacles including riverbanks and a lake, in a real life roller coster ride. £50.00 per trip
Assault Course - Minimum Age 8 Years
	There is a varied and challenging assault course in the grounds of Rookin House. This is often combined with other activities and used by groups. Perhaps for a team-building or stag weekend? Clay Pigeon Shooting
	Overlooking the amazing Lakeland countryside - catering for the total beginner and the more experienced shot, we offer full instruction and the cost also includes the use of all equipment. £45.00 per person - 50 cartridges £25.00 per person - 25 cartridges £15.00 per person - 12 cartridges
Command Tasks
	These cunning, and fun, little tasks put a variety of teamworking skills to the test. Leadership, communication, planning and support are all required in order to succesfully complete each task. As ever with teamwork, planning and talking about it is all very well - but it is the execution of the task that matters. The theory that Joe & Shiela were going hold onto that rope was all well and good in the planning, but the true test is in the 'doing'. You try to remind yourself just which team member it was that spoke up about the rope being too heavy to hold for that long - as your prize slowly sinks into the river . . . . . Its all about learning by doing and a great way to test out existing team sklls or to accelerate new teams getting to know each other. After all, the person who never made a mistake never made anything...
Cub Carts
	Battery powered Go Karts. Give the kids their first real driving experience - ideal for birthday parties. £5.00 for 10 Minutes
Fishing
	The family fishing pond is ideal for beginners and children. The fishing pitches are on a pond which is well stocked with rainbow trout, so, with a little skill, you could catch your dinner! All fishing tackle and bait is supplied. £6.00 equipment hire and bait or £4.00 with own rod and line. Both the above prices include the cost of 1 fish. Trout prices: £3.00 per lb, average size ¾lb.
Go Karts - 14 years + and 4′7″ +
	The Lake District's only Indoor Rally Cross Circuit. Sessions organised as 5 practice laps and a series of 10 lap races. These latest Honda powered karts allow you to put your foot down hard to the floor and test your driving ability to the full! As you get faster the earth track gets slippier and if that's not for you, just take your time. £15.50 for 25 laps £19.00 for 35 laps £22.00 for 45 laps Minimum age 14 years. Human Bowling
	One player climbs into the ball. He or she is then strapped securely into the seat by a body harness. The other players roll the ball at pins situated 15 feet away, knocking over as many as possible. JCB Operation
	Here is a chance to do something different! Learn how to operate a JCB excavator - you never know when it might come in handy! £12.00 per person
Mad Trax - Minimum Age 16 Years
	Mad Trax buggies are purpose built for use on a rough terrain circuit, and have all-round suspension to ensure peak performance at all times. Full racing outfits are provided. Each race consists of 4 laps, with a Grand Final and a trophy for the winner. Each driver is guaranteed a minimum of 3 races per session. £42.50 per person Minimum age 16 years Minimum group size 8
Paintballing
	Picture yourself behind enemy lines in the heart of the jungle. With stealth and speed, you advance over hazardous territory towards your target. Paintballing needs wits, courage, careful planning and dedicated teamwork. So let the battle begin! Paintballing is particularly popular with groups of friends and corporate events. All safety equipment is provided. You will be briefed and trained by paintball supervisors before battle commences. Pony Trekking
	Our riding centre is ABRS approved and has been established over 20 years. Trekking Children aged 8 and over can join our group treks. 1 hour £25.00 Discount available for 4 or more 1 hour 30 minutes £32.50 2 hours £40.00 2 hours 30 minutes £45.00 3 hours £50.00 Riding Lessons: Group or private lessons available in showjumping or flat work. Adult Quads
	Over 250 acres to explore, all types of terrain to cover, depending on the skill of the rider on Kawasaki 360cc machines. Helmets and coveralls are provided. £16.50 for 20 Minutes £30.00 for 40 Minutes £42.50 for 1 Hour
80CC Junior Quads (12 - 15 Years)
	These junior quads are great fun and are normally taken out separately to adult quad treks, although adults can join their children on an adult bike if they prefer. The treks are taken out in consideration of the least capable rider. £16.50 for 20 Minutes £30.00 for 40 Minutes
50CC Child Quads (6 - 11 Years)
	These smaller quads give children the chance to do off road driving. Children over 12 years can join these treks however; they are taken out in consideration of the least capable rider. We do not advise adults to join their children on these treks, although you are most welcome if you wish to do so. £16.50 for 20 Minutes
Stalwart
	The ultimate all-terrain drive. Amaze your passengers and surprise yourself as you discover what this awesome amphibious army truck is capable of. Each trip includes one person to drive (must hold a driving license) and loads of passengers. £75.00 for approx. 20 minutes.
rEVERSE sTEER
	The Reverse Steer is an unusual and challenging activity vehicle specially engineered to drive in opposites, turning left when you turn right and vice-versa! This might sound simple, but can you do it when the pressure is on with your whole team counting on you as you navigate your way through the myriad of obstacles, tight bends, chicanes and reversing sections, all against the clock it becomes far trickier Price on Application
jacobs ladder- Minimum Age 8 Years
	The Jacobs Ladder is a great team challenge which relies on good communication and trust. Great challenge if you find heights a bit of a challenge. TREE CLIMB - MINIMUM AGE 8 YEARS
	Tree climb - this actvity is what it says, the trees are tall pine trees that have had foot and hand holds on enabling you to climb up the tall scots pine tree trunks.
