About Rookin House
   
Rookin House Farm Rookin House is an established adventure venue and has been offering a wide variety of outdoor activities for over 20 years. Family owned and operated, Rookin House has a strong focus on both fun and safety. The centre is just 4 miles from Ullswater, and 8 miles from both Keswick and Penrith and easily accessible from the A66. All of the activities (unless otherwise stated) are based on one site with Blencathra providing a spectacular Lakeland backdrop.  Whilst we do have self-catering accommodation here at Rookin House, you don't have to stay on site to take part in activity sessions with us.  You don't have to be part of a larger group either (although minimum numbers do apply to some activities).

Late Availability -

The Self Catering Barn accommodation is available due to a last minute cancellation on the weekend of 23rd & 24th July - sleeps up to 21 people.  If you are interested please call 017684 83561

Mid week - Check for mid week stays and for company meetings including an overnight stay. Blencathra View can be the ideal space to use as a meeting room.

Please note: the above are examples based on a group size of 21 in the self catering barn. The accommodation and activities do vary in price, your choice of either will influence the overall price you pay. We can email the examples to you on request.

Payment Information - please note we will require payment (non refundable) for all activities and accommodation at the time of booking (30% deposit and the balance 5 weeks before).  We accept debit and credit cards with a 3% surcharge applied to credit cards.  Please click here to read our full Booking Terms and Conditions.
