Rookin House has a variety of on-site self catering accommodation - sleeping up to 64 people in three seperate accommodation barns. All of the accommodation is centrally heated, tastefully renovated and spacious.
Arrival time is from 4pm & departure is by 10.30am on the last day
There is ample parking space outside all three Accommodation Barns.
All prices quoted are correct as at 11th June 2010.

This beautifully converted 16th century barn, designed
for comfort using quality furnishings retains lots of its character
with exposed beams & a traditional fire place whilst enjoying under
floor heating, laminate flooring and a modern kitchen with a range
cooker. There is a large parking area outside the property. There
is an excellent choice of local pubs the nearest is 1¼ miles
away. Perfect for family gatherings, corporate groups and stag &
hen parties. 4 rooms sleep two people each, two rooms sleep 4 people and there is a single. There is also a pull out bed for the 18th person |

Our comfortable and cosy 18th century barn conversion
sleeps up to 21/22 in comfort. There are six
bedrooms, one double room and five rooms sleeping four in
bunk-beds. There are 2 recently re-fitted bathrooms, each with 2 WCs,
showers and hand basins. Downstairs there is a lounge, comfortably
equipped with easy chairs and settees, and if you have time, a colour
TV. There's even a full-size pool table, for when you prefer a less
strenuous indoor option! The dining area can seat up to 22, and is serviced by a well-appointed kitchen, which includes a six-ring gas cooker. Kitchen utensils, tea towels and cleaning materials are also provided. The Barn (Additional En-Suite Room)Available to parties renting the Self-Catering barn - ideal if you have a group of 21+ or if you need a secure room or separate bedroom for instructors / teachers.The room has lots of storage space, a private shower, a set of bunk beds plus a two seater pull out settee, sleeping up to a total of 4 people. |

heated camping barn is roomy, dry and comfortable. It has:
2 showers, 2 toilets, a dining-living room area and a fully equipped
kitchen. There are no bedrooms the living area doubles up as a sleeping
area. You must bring a portable camp bed or matteress
& bedding. Lake District, this accommodation
is popular with walkers throughout the year. Close by are some of
the greatest walks in the country from the strenuous hikes of Blencathra
to the gentle meanders along Aira Force. |
