There is so much to do at Rookin House that it is an ideal place for an adventurous activity break. Many activities can be enjoyed by mixed age groups. For more information, including age restrictions, about individual activities see our Activity Info page.

Half Day Equine Option: ‘Horsing Around'Minimum group size of 8 - £55.00 each (session length approx 3 hours) With champagne and strawberries on arrival there’s no better way to start the day! Followed by an introduction to the horses and your coach(s) who will issue equipment and answer any questions you are sure to have. A demo for tacking up will be given; you will groom and tack up your own horse (with assistance!) riders will be mounted and learn the basics in our indoor arena before heading out for at least an hour and a half through the Lakeland countryside. On return you will untack and groom your horses. This hands on experience with the horses is very rewarding and you’re guaranteed to have fun with our fantastic selection of kind horses to suit all riders and Qualified coaches. All riders will receive a rosette in the colours and wording of your choice as a little piece of memorabilia of your day! This package could be made a full day, depending on ability and fitness of participants. Lunch can be included in this package which would be ready on your return from your ride. |

Mad Trax - Half Day PackageMadtrax buggies are purpose built for use on a rough terrain circuit, and have all round suspension to ensure peak performance at all times. Full racing outfits are provided. Each race consists of 4 laps, with a grand final and a trophy for the winner. Each driver is guaranteed a minimum of 3 races per session. |

Paintball - Half Day PackagePicture yourself behind enemy lines in the heart of the jungle. With stealth and speed, you advance over hazardous territory towards your target. Paintballing needs wits, courage, careful planning and dedicated teamwork. So let the battle begin! Paintball is particularly popular with groups of friends and corporate events. All safety equipment is provided. You will be briefed and trained by paintball supervisors before battle commences. |

If you want an even more action packed experience, you can add a 20 minute drive in the Stalwart to any of these packages for a total of £75.00 per group (1 driver and lots of passengers).
We can cater for groups over 25, up to 100+, but adjustments may be necessary.
