Rookin House - School & Youth Group Activity Packages
Rookin House has been providing fun days with a strong focus on safety for 20 years. Many school and youth groups return regularly as there is such a wide choice of activities. Most groups are able to put together a visit schedule that fits their requirements and budget.
Multi-activity packages available:
from £25.00 per head - half day
Horse riding is a great activity for young people and very rewarding. We can offer a half day session (3 hours) with a more hands on approach which includes basic aspects of horsemanship (grooming and tacking up), a ride out including instruction to make the visit an even more memorable experience. For Educational visits we can link the learning into core areas of the National Curriculum. The cost for a half day session is £25 each (based on a minimum group size of 12 mid week during term time).
A combination of activities can be put together choose from air rifles, archery, argo cat, assault course, clay shooting, human bowling, jacobs ladder, quad bike trekking, reverse steer driving, zip wire and more...
from £50.00 per head - full day
Team challenges including raft building and team games can also be included in the day to give variety and lengthen a package without increasing the cost greatly.A full day can start from £50.00 and can include activities such as orienteering, jacobs ladder, human bowl, assault course, zip wire, raftbuilding and raft racing.

All prices include vat and schools should be able to calim this back through their local education authority. Risk assessments have been carried out if you need help completing your own or a pre visit is required please do not hesitate to contact us.
Rookin House are keen to work with teachers/group leaders to advise them on the best combination of activities for particular age groups.

Several of the activities can be enjoyed by visitors with special needs. Again, advice during the planning process will ensure a rewarding visit.
